In March 2024, Caroline Nava launched the inaugural Smash the Silence Padel Tournament in honor of her father, who has been on a remarkable recovery journey after suffering a stroke. The event raised over $55,000 for the American Heart Association, spreading awareness and providing resources to those affected by heart conditions.

In March 2024, Caroline Nava organized the first-ever Smash the Silence Padel Tournament, inspired by her father’s ongoing recovery from a life-changing stroke. Held in honor of his resilience, the event aimed to raise awareness for stroke survivors and heart health while supporting the American Heart Association. Through the participation of dedicated players and the backing of an incredible community, the event successfully raised over $55,000 to further research, resources, and education on heart conditions.

The Smash the Silence Padel Tournament was made possible through the generosity of a wide range of sponsors, who played a vital role in its success. These included prominent names such as the Miami Heat, Lifestyle Medicine, Sweetgreen, Dreamstate Brewing, Reset Cryotherapy, Bose, and The Elser Miami. Other key contributors were S.F. Agent Wyatt, Tyler Bahnsen, Ballyhoo Media, Sanaskin Studio, Higher Dose, Make It Tremble, Drink Recover, and Carrot Express.

The tournament also had the support of additional sponsors like Alo Yoga, Esselry, Waiakea, SG Wine Spirits, Florida Blue, Slate Milk, Eat Mezcla, Museum of Graffiti, and Reserve Padel. Their combined contributions made it possible to create a powerful event that not only raised vital funds but also brought awareness to the importance of heart health.

Caroline's commitment to honoring her father's recovery journey while advocating for others inspired attendees and participants alike. With the help of these amazing sponsors and a passionate community, the Smash the Silence Padel Tournament was a resounding success, proving that awareness, action, and unity can truly make a difference.

The Nonprofit Marketing Co. played a pivotal role in the success of the Smash the Silence event by providing comprehensive strategic support. Our team was involved in developing and executing a well-rounded marketing strategy, offering guidance on social media direction, content creation, and ensuring the event’s message resonated with the target audience.

We also provided support through the creation of a detailed event overview and an impactful pitch deck, which helped secure sponsors and participants. Additionally, we supported day-of planning by providing a customized run-of-show template for the team to follow, along with vendor recommendations, ensuring the event ran smoothly.
